Label Placement

Since Little Green Steps wants to be a new household name, making their clothing recognisable is very important. However since a big part of the clothing they provide will primarily be basics, these clothes would need a distinct feature. This is why it was decided to add a label with a recognisable version of the logo(see picture below for examples). The picture on the right would most likely be the most eligible when stitched onto a label, since it has the least details.

The label is not placed on the most aesthetically pleasing position due to a few practical and usability factors that are deemed more important. The placement on most of the clothing is on a spot that is normally covered by a diaper so that the stitches on the inside would almost never be able to come into contact with sensitive baby skin and would not be able to cause irritation, like a label on a sleeve possibly might. It was decided not to put it on the sides as a small tag, since parents might cut them off.

The back of the neck could possibly be an alternative, but to make sure that skin irritation here would not be a problem it might be wise to do further research. Otherwise it could be possible to look into ways in which it could be knitted or dyed into the fabric itself.
