A study conducted by Carnegie Mellon University found that e-commerce shopping would reduce overall energy consumption and carbon imprint in the United States by 35 percent, compared to traditional retail shopping. This is why Little Green Steps is only found online - our online webstore is accessible to everyone, all hours of the day, meaning you can spend more time at home in your pyjamas!

There is more than 15 million tonnes of textile waste generated each year in the United States, and this number is continuing to grow. The average person buys approximately 60 percent more clothing every year than the average sum 15 years ago. The traditional clothing industry is largely responsible for this, as prices (and quality) fall so do ethical and environmental standards in supply chains. Little Green Steps seeks to right this wrong by taking responsibility for our supply chain, from the sourcing of the materials we use to the packaging of the packages you receive. Our factories are independently audited to evaluate working conditions, fair wages, hours worked and environmental impact.

Becoming a parent is a trying time, and expensive too. We aim to provide affordable options for parents or guardian no matter their income. Our sustainable efforts (reusing and recycling textiles, saving energy by not having a traditional shopfront) is cost saving too, meaning you don’t have to pay retail prices for our clothing. Yay!
