12 000 bottles get handed out in Moria on a daily basis

The main focus in camp Moria is survival and protection, so sustainability is not high on the priority list of residents and authorities. The water that is provided is currently almost exclusively provided in disposable, single-use plastic bottles. This results in 12 000, one per refugee, 1.5 litre water bottles that are trown away, after just one day of usage. There is no proper waste disposal system in place, which has a huge impact on the living environment of the refugees.
