Why this product?

Before creating a product, research must be done into the interest for an idea. Hence, user research was done. A questionnaire was set up which was sent to multiple festival organizers and to people of the chosen target group (festival visitors). The data received was used to get an estimate of the price for the lockers. In the beginning, the data was also used to see if people were interested in an alternative item-storage solution. Some research was done in alternative storage solutions. This research concluded that a locker would be the safest way to store belongings which lead to research on making lockers more affordable and so the idea switched to foldable lockers. The survey concluded that there was enough interest in the product concept to continue by creating a budget plan and creating a locker design that would be more affordable for the target group.
