On this page you can find all of the content of the DentiBox available for the customer. The application, the box, the products inside, the instructions and the stand.

Website and application
Here a website is created that presents the general set up of our idea. You can find a chatting service, a webshop, some general dental health information and your dental advice on this website. The website display what a customer “Eva” will see when they are subscribed and logged in to Dentibox. The application is linked to this website and will show exactly the same information in a different format. To see the full application click on the button below.

Packaging
The DentiBox will be delivered in a box, the first box will be rather large, this includes all the starting products and the stand. After that, you will receive smaller boxes that will fit through your letterbox, so it is easy to deliver at all times.

- Electric toothbrush and brush-heads
- Advice that dentists give: recommend using an electric toothbrush instead of a manual toothbrush because electric brushes already move (rotating or sonic) and you do not have to do this yourself. It is important that the patient knows how best to use an electric toothbrush because if you cannot handle an electric toothbrush well, you might as well use a manual toothbrush, therefore a manual toothbrush will be an option as well. Currently the best electric toothbrushes are from Oral-B and Philips, a cheaper vitality will be significantly less effective. Therefore, in collaboration with Oral-B you will receive in the first ‘starter’ package an Oral-B electric toothbrush. The brush-head needs to be switched every three months, these brush-heads can be resupplied via the DentiBox.

Toothpaste
There are many different types of toothpaste, different types that all are useful for different circumstances within the mouth. Toothpaste always has to contain fluor, as it helps strengthen the teeth. For sensitive teeth, recommendable toothpaste is Sensodyne Rapid Relief, Elmex Sensitive, or Vitis sensitive, these toothpaste prevent the cause of sensitive teeth and strengthen the tooth enamel. For gingivitis (causes sensitive and bleeding gums), Paradontax or Vitis ‘gezond tandvlees’ are recommended. Finally for caries, Elmex Anti-Cariës tandpasta is recommended. Also via a collaboration with these brands the toothpaste will be supplied.

Chewing gum (with xylitol)
It also is recommended to chew on a piece of gum after meals, xylitol has an antibacterial working and therefore reduces plaque. Also it lubricates your mouth with saliva, which helps prevent tooth decay. Finally, it also helps to prevent bad breath.

Interdental cleansers
A toothbrush only cleans the surface of your teeth, that’s why next to a toothbrush interdental cleaners need to be used. For example, interdental brushes, toothpicks or dental floss. These products clean in between the teeth, where the toothbrush doesn’t reach. It removes the interdental plaque that can cause calculus, approximal caries and inflammation of the gums (gingivitis periodontitis). To be sustainable only small attachments have to be thrown away, the grip can be used indefinitely.

Rinsing waters
Rinsing waters, mouthwash or oral rinse, is a liquid that is used to rinse your teeth, gums and mouth. It helps against bad breath, but also helps against other things such as harmful bacteria, preventing tooth decay or gum diseases and a dry mouth. Finally, it can contain fluoride as well, so it can be used as an extra source to strengthen the teeth. However, it is important that there aren’t any bad chemicals in it such as alcohol or other bad ingredients. This will also be delivered in a premium bottle that can be refilled so that you get a more premium experience and it is at the same time better for the environment.

Tongue Scraper
If you only clean your teeth you don’t clean your entire mouth, there will still be bacterias that could be of harm. Therefore, using a tongue scraper is essential to decrease the amount of bad bacteria, which have a bad influence on your oral health. As a result your breath will also smell better. It also makes your tongue more visible, as it is an important diagnostic tool to identify certain signs of diseases or deficiencies. Finally, it can even improve your taste!

Single tufted brush
A single tufted brush is an important tool for removing plaque on areas that are in general hard to reach, or other specific areas, such as wisdom teeth, braces, or teeth that are more exposed due to receding gums. It’s also a very useful tool to clean around implants, bridges or dentures.

Other products that might be needed but are less common:
Tablets for dry mouth, cleaning agents for prosthesis or implants/dentures
The described cover a lot of conditions already, yet there are some less common conditions that sometimes require products to maintain or improve as well. For these conditions such as prosthesi or implants for example, products can be delivered with the DentiBox as well if that’s possible. This depends on what product you will need, products like cleaning agents or tablets definitely will be possible

After receiving these products, it is really important that you know how to use them. If you don’t use the products correctly the efficiency decreases significantly. Therefore we will also include clear instructions for each product. This way everyone will know how to use the product properly, therefore cleaning their mouth ideally.

At the first package you can choose to include a stand with multiple parts. These parts can be interchanged to your liking. The parts are all altered in such a way every product given in the dentibox can easily be stored in your bathroom. This way you constantly have a reminder you need to use the products given.
