In my second year we had to do an interdisciplinary project with Mechanical Engineering students and Industrial Engineering and Management students for IKEA. The aim was to design a product that seperates the dry and wet part of the bathroom. This product should fit in every kind of bathroom. We designed a shower door that consists of three modules of 59.4 x 39.4 cm attached to each other to form one screen. These screens are flexible and can bend to two sides, meaning they can stand in all sorts of configurations and they can also be folded together. This saves space in the bathroom when the shower is not used.
