Maintenance Instructions




A cleaning cart will be used for that, this cart will be cleaned at our distribution center. This cart consists of a hot cleaning part of 72 °C, and a cooled part that is kept on -18 °C. In the cooled part the leftover fruits from the machine and the new boxes can be stored. The cart can hold up to 40 boxes of fruit. For the cooling part there is good isolation, the heat that comes from this cooling part will be used for the hot cleaning part.

The cleaning is done outside of the machine, otherwise the frozen part in the machine is opened for too long. Cleaning outside the machine means that the machine and system will become more energy efficient.

Cleaning is done according to HACCP standards, all new maintenance people will be trained according to the HACCP rules.




The machine can be devided into four parts. Therefore the guide is also devided in four chapters:
 - Frozen section
 - Liquid section
 - Water basin
 - Cups and lids
The four sections have different subchapters, about emptying, cleaning and refilling the parts. This guide can be seen at the page below.

Frozen section

Emptying the frozen section
1. Open the frozen section
2. Take the top-cardboard containers and put them in the holder underneath the screw conveyor
3. Close the frozen section
4. Hold the buttons on the inside of the machine and on the interface to turn on the screw conveyors
5. Remove the refilled cardboard containers and place them in the cooled part of the cart
6. Open the frozen section
7. Remove the empty cardboard containers
8. Cut them open with an utility knife
9. Wipe off the flat cardboard containers
10. Place them in the cart
11. Remove the screw conveyors, place them in the heated part of the cart
12. Close the frozen section

Cleaning frozen section
1. Clean the screw conveyors
2. Dry off the screw conveyors


Placing the parts in the frozen section
1. Open the frozen section
2. Wipe of the holders of the screw conveyors
3. Place the dry screw conveyors
4. Close the frozen section

Refilling the fruit
1. Open the frozen section
2. Place the refilled cardboard containers in their corresponding holders
The numbers show which container belongs where
3. Place the wanted amount of cardboard containers on top of the first one
4. Remove the plastic seals between the cardboard containers as shown below
Do not remove the top seal of the top-cardboard container
5. Close the frozen section

Liquid section

Emptying the liquid section
1. Open the liquid section
2. Take out the bags
3. Take out the tubes
4. Close the liquid section

Cleaning liquid section
1. Flush the tubes
2. Dry the tubes
3. Get the blender out of the machine, place it in the heated part of the cart
4. Clean the blender

Placing parts in the liquid section
1. Open the liquid section
2. Place the dry tubes
3. Close the liquid section
4. Place the blender
5. Let the blender run a cleaning routine, as check

Refilling the liquids
1. Open the liquid section
2. Place the bags in the corresponding holder
3. Close the liquid section

Water basin

Refilling the water basin
1. Take out the water basin and the wastewater container
2. Empty both
3. Put in new water in the water basin
4. Put both back into the machine


Cups and lids

Refill utilities
1. Refill the cups
2. Refill the lids
3. Make sure all sections are closed properly
4. Lock the front of the machine



Cleaning for Caterer




These instructions are for our partner company. They have to clean the vending machine on a daily basis.
1. Unlock and open the front of the machine
2. Wipe of the cup holder with a cloth
3. Wipe of all surfaces around the path of the cup
4. Dry of all still wet parts
5. Take all cleaning equipment out of the machine
6. Close and lock the front of the machine
