Hello, my name is Maureen Materman. I am an Industrial Design, bachelors student at the University of Twente, the Netherlands. Currently I am looking for a bachelor assignment.
I like to work on practical and sustainable solutions. In designing solutions I focus on function, material choice and ease of use. Ergonomical solutions that make a difference in the daily lives of people, are a strong motivator for me in designing products or services. I like 3D-modelling using software as Solidworks and Lumion (and Moldflow) to see how a design takes form. Besides that, I am always open for new challenges and learning new things.
In my spare time I like travelling, photography and boxing. In my second and third year at the University, I did a full time board year at my study association and I followed an honours program in advanced mathematics of 1.5 year. My function during this board year was officer educational affairs, in which I was the bridge between the Industrial Design students and the educational staff.
