Hello, my name is Maureen Materman. I am a master's student Mechanical Engineering at the University of Twente, the Netherlands.
I like to work on practical and sustainable solutions, and to research sustainable materials. Before I started my master, I studied Industrial Design at the university of Twente.
In my spare time I like travelling, photography, healthy cooking and boxing. In my second and third year at the University, I did a full time board year at the study association of industrial design. My function during this board year was officer educational affairs, in which I was the bridge between the Industrial Design students and the educational staff. Besides that I followed an honours program in advanced mathematics of 1.5 year.

Examples of courses are: Materials (CES), Mechanics of Materials, Production 1, 2, 3 (MoldFlow) and Construction
At the university I did many projects, the courses of the projects can be find at the curriculum website.
Examples of courses are: Introduction to industrial Design, Physical Ergonomics and Cognitive Ergonomics.
I had different courses about design for example: graphic design, design sketching 1, 2, 3 , and design and meaning.
There are several mathematics courses in industrial design, examples are Euclid, Leibniz, Newton and Cayley. But also statistics

During easter weekend I had a spring photoshoot with Dorothey. For this photoshoot I used my 50mm lens with f/1.4 or f/2.

Sundaynight I went to Arnhem with two other photographers to make some long exposure photos and to test my new 50 mm f/1.4 lens. For the long exposure photos I used f/16 and for the bokeh photos I used f/1.4.

Last week I went with another photographer to "Kasteel Rosendael" in Rozendaal. Here I made some nature photos. As an extra tool I used a crystal sphere. For these photos I used the tamron 18-270 lens.
