During the past years, my desire to create positive change in the world has been growing constantly. I have developed a passion for sustainable development and all aspects of sustainability. I feel the responsibility to protect people and to protect nature.
My other passion lies where Industrial Design Engineering meets Architecture, so creating livable spaces that enhance the lives of all the different users. In my study, I learned how to include users in the design process, of course how to develop products, but also about the management of the whole product life cycle.
I am always looking for new challenges and like to combine my different interests and passions.
MASTER INDUSTRIAL DESIGN ENGINEERING
University of Twente – Netherlands | 2018 – current
Currently, I am following the Mastertrack ‘Management of Product Development’, which focuses on the management of the whole product life cycle, including aspects such as circularity and business development. Next to that, my personal focus was on sustainable development and sustainability in general. I performed multiple projects on that topic, such as the development of a housing solution for the Dharavi slum in Mumbai.
BACHELOR INDUSTRIAL DESIGN
University of Twente – Netherlands | 2014 – 2018
As a student of Industrial Design, I have gained a broad field of knowledge and skills. The main aspect of my Bachelor was, of course, design, but also technical aspects like mechanics, manufacturing and programming played a big role. Other important aspects, such as ergonomics, marketing and management were also included in the Bachelor.
ERASMUS SEMESTER
Linköping University – Sweden | 2016 – 2017
During my Erasmus semester in Sweden, I had the possibility to meet people from Sweden and from all over the world. I followed a selection of really diverse courses. I learned Swedish, about Swedish history, about the material wood and programming in C++.
HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATION
Gymnasium Horn – Germany | 2010 – 2012
During high school, I focused on Arts and Mathematics and was able to graduate from high school with an average of 1.6 (with 1.0 being best and 6.0 worst in the German high school system).
EVENTS COORDINATOR
Sustain – Netherlands | August 2018 - current
As Events Coordinator, together with a team of six students, I was responsible for organizing all events of Sustain at the University of Twente and surroundings. Furthermore, as a member of the first board of Sustain, I was co-responsible for setting up Sustain as an association. I performed this task in part-time next to my studies.
FREELANCE PROJECT LEADER AND INTERIOR DESIGNER
MESA+ – Netherlands | March 2018 - August 2018
At MESA+, I was responsible for starting and keeping up the renovation project of the MESA+ offices. I was the main facilitator for the integration of the users in the design process and the specification of requirements. At the same time, I was co-responsible for the design of the new offices and worked together with an architect. The design is currently being implemented.
I performed this task in full-time.

FREELANCE PRODUCT DESIGNER AND INTERIOR DESIGNER
Facility Service Centre of the University of Twente – Netherlands | September 2017 - January 2018
As my Bachelor thesis in Industrial Design, I designed a meeting point for University College Twente that should enhance the interaction between students and staff. I facilitated multiple interviews, co-design sessions and reviews to include the users in the design process. The meeting point has been implemented shortly after my graduation. I performed that task in full-time.

FREELANCE GRAPHIC AND WEB DESIGNER
Swing Out Loud Enschede – Netherlands | July 2017 - August 2017
For Swing Out Loud Enschede, I designed a complete corporate identity, including an easily maintainable website, a Facebook page, posters and other promotional materials. I performed that task in part-time next to my study.
CHAIRPERSON OF THE EXCURSION COMMITY
University of Twente – Netherlands | September 2015 - September 2016
As the chairwoman of the Excursion Committee, my task was to manage a team of six students, which organized excursions to different companies related to Industrial Design.
PERSONAL ASSISTANT OF A HANDICAPPED CHILD
Sozial Friedensdienst Bremen – Germany | August 2012 – August 2013
As a personal assistant, I supported an autistic child at a kindergarten, which included eating, diapering and of course a lot of playing. I volunteered for a whole year and worked full-time. The voluntary service also included workshops on different topics, such as education, politics and team building.
INTERN IN MARKETING
FKP Scorpio – Germany | April 2011
During my internship at FKP Scorpio, I had the possibility to gain insights into the organization of concerts, festivals and other events. During that internship, I was mainly engaged in the marketing department.
The internship was part of my educational program and full-time.

At Juno, I was able to learn about communication design, graphic design and all the aspects to take into account when developing a corporate identity.
