Flyte will have to work together with other organizations to realize its system. It will collaborate with DHL for parcel delivery, with Delsey for the production of suitcases and with group trip organizations such as D-Reizen for an audience. Making use of existing partnerships and infrastructure makes the system economically feasible.
A group trip organizer who collaborates with us will make the suitcases an additional advantage of booking a trip with them.
The suitcases are stored at the Flyte distribution center until they are sent to holidaymakers. The distribution center makes use of an app to keep track of each of the suitcases its destinations.
The suitcases are brought to the holidaymakers' homes. DHL already has the infrastructure required to ensure that the package arrives at the correct location on a predetermined time frame.
The upon subscribing to the group travel, the holidaymaker can choose whether the package should be delivered at home or at a pick-up point. This creates a more flexible experience for the holidaymaker.
Field research has shown that 85% of people already pack their bags in the last 3 days before travel. Flyte gives the holidaymaker plenty of time to pack their suitcase.
The suitcases are sealed with a warranty sticker to avert unwanted use like smuggling. It also reduces Flyte's accountability when the product is misused.
Thanks to the seal on the suitcase, Flyte will know if someone tampered with the contents of a suitcase.
By packing the suitcases together in a container it becomes cargo. Cargo is much cheaper to ship, and the suitcases are uniquely designed to be easy to stack into a container.
The container is brought to the airport by DHL, the distribution office would be located close to Schiphol. DHL can handle customs internally which will accelerate the process.

The containers go through customs more quickly and cheap than individual suitcases
The containers are loaded into the plane. The plane then flies to the destination country.
Because people don’t need to check in their luggage, which takes the longest time, they can arrive about 1.5 hours later.
When the plane is unloaded, the container with suitcases won’t go through the regular system.
The organization and the flyte hired personnel at the destination airport meet up to transfer the suitcases. The organization and its users won’t have to wait at the conveyor belt. A well-organized meetup could allow the suitcases to be directly loaded into a bus or van.
During the holidays the holidaymakers will use the suitcases. They can distinguish the suitcases from one another, because all suitcases have their own color code.
At the end of the holiday the group trip organization will go to the airport with the holidaymakers. They will give the suitcases to a Flyte representative close to the airport. This representative will reduce the logistic complexity for the group trip organization.
Flyte hires an employee to receive the suitcases, put them into a container and transfer it to customs.
The container goes through customs once again.
Since the suitcases cannot arrive early at the airport, due to the lack of a postal service, they will be put into the same plane as the holidaymakers.
The users fly back home like with any other vacation.
Flyte knows which suitcase belongs to which holidaymaker. When Flyte unpacks the container they can tag each of the suitcases with the correct destination.
DHL returns the suitcases to the holidaymakers' homes, or the nearest pick-up point.
Upon subscribing to the group travel, the holidaymaker chose whether the package should be delivered to their home or to a pick-up point.
End users can choose for themselves what method and time for transfer they are comfortable with, an arranged pickup at the doorstep or dropping the suitcase off at a collection point before a given deadline
DHL transfers the empty suitcases back to the Flyte storage center, stacked compactly due to the specific design.
The suitcases are cleaned and prepared for the next usage at the Flyte storage center.
To lower storage and transport costs the suitcases are designed to be compactly stored in stacks.
