Basics of Impact, Innovations & Entrepreneurship

In this group project for the course Basics of Impact, Innovations & Entrepreneurship we created a business plan for our service named Groon.

Groon

Nowadays, supermarkets in the Netherlands offer a wide range of products. Thereby there is a trend going of becoming more sustainable and transparent, supermarkets can act herein by selling sustainable products and provide more information of these products. There are already a lot of labels that tells if a product is sustainable or animal friendly for example. However a product can only get such a label if they ask an organisation to label them. This means that these labels can be used for greenwashing, thereby there are so many different labels that it is very difficult to understand what they mean. With our solution we want to help a supermarket to better visualize sustainable product information. To provide clearer information for the customer in supermarkets, we will work together with a supermarket chain to display information about sustainability, human rights and recycling.
