In the assignment is stated that a robot is created with two moving bodies that move in a two dimensional plane and is controlled with at least two emg inputs.
We have chosen to make a xylophone wich can be played by muscle constraction.
To play the xylophone the player must make a special combination of muscle contraction. Each combination is referred to a tune. Once a muscle combination is made the mallet first goes to this tune and will then hit it automatically. A muscle combination exists of the muscle contraction of three, two or one muscle group. Because of the use of three emg sensors (3-bit, a total of eight possibilities), it is possible to hit seven tunes. All muscles uncontracted is the 8th possibility but this will not result in an action of the system (the user has to be able to pause).
